Kabula Diaries Introduces Annual Festival to be Held at Echo's Park

Kabula Diaries, a popular event organizer, has announced the introduction of a two-day annual festival to be held at Echo's Park in Blantyre. The festival, set to take place from June 6 to 7, promises to offer a unique blend of music, poetry, fashion, and workshops.

According to festival director Prince Chikweba, the event aims to provide a fun and safe environment for attendees. "We want people to have fun in a safe environment and in winter. We also want to inspire a new generation of artists and give them a platform to showcase their works."

The festival will feature multiple stages, including a main stage and a second stage near the man-made dam, which will host music performances. Chikweba emphasized that the festival will cater to all interests, with a variety of activities and performances.

Echo's Park Managing Director Nathan Chitenje expressed excitement about hosting the festival, stating that it aligns with their goal of promoting tourism and preserving culture.

Chitenje highlighted that Echo's Park is an ideal venue for the festival, offering a beautiful environment and opportunities for attendees to connect with nature.

The festival is expected to feature less than 40 artists in its inaugural year, with a focus on showcasing local talent and providing a platform for emerging artists.
