MUBAS STUDENTS HOST INTER-COLLEGE SOCIAL WEEKEND


Students at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) are hosting an Inter-college social weekend, sponsored by the National Bank of Malawi. The event kicked off with a costume party, where students dressed in creative and outrageous outfits to capture memories of their university life.



The highlight of the event will be a music show tonight, featuring performances by popular artists Onesmus, Eli Njuchi, and Sly C, among others. The event promises to be an exciting celebration of university life and social connections.

MALAWI FILM INDUSTRY GETS BOOST FROM NIGERIAN COLLABORATION

  Renowned Nigerian actors Charles Awurum, Charles Inojie, and Nkeiruka Sylvanus have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Film Association of Malawi (Fama) to collaborate on a new movie production. The partnership aims to support the growth of the local film industry in Malawi. The MoU was signed at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe, and it will enable the Nigerian actors to contribute to Fama's operations. The partnership is part of a K40 million collaboration between the Shepherd Bushiri Foundation (SBF) and Fama to foster industry growth and support Malawian and international actors.
