Musicians Unite to Support Tay Grin After Fire Accident


A group of local musicians, including Lulu, Gwamba, Lawi, Kell Kay, and Temwah, have joined forces to organize a concert in support of fellow musician Tay Grin. The concert, dubbed "From the Ashes," aims to raise funds to help Tay Grin recover from a recent fire accident that destroyed his property.

The concert is scheduled to take place on April 5 at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe. According to Lawi, the idea behind the concert is to show support for Tay Grin during his time of need.

Lawi expressed his sympathy for Tay Grin, saying that although they cannot replace what he lost, they want to raise some funds to help him recover. The concert will feature a lineup of talented musicians, including veteran artist Giddes Chalamanda.

The venue for the concert has been provided free of charge by the owners, who are supporting the cause. Musicians Union of Malawi (Mum) President Vita Chirwa commended the musicians for their initiative, emphasizing the importance of supporting one another in the creative industry.

Chirwa encouraged musicians to continue showing solidarity and supporting each other in times of need. The concert is expected to be a memorable event, with a lineup of talented musicians coming together for a good cause.

The "From the Ashes" concert promises to be an exciting event that will not only raise funds for Tay Grin but also showcase the solidarity and camaraderie among local musicians.

MALAWI FILM INDUSTRY GETS BOOST FROM NIGERIAN COLLABORATION

  Renowned Nigerian actors Charles Awurum, Charles Inojie, and Nkeiruka Sylvanus have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Film Association of Malawi (Fama) to collaborate on a new movie production.
