New Film "Revenge of the Ghost" Released by Genuine Kado


 A new film titled 'Revenge of the Ghost' has hit the screens, produced by the acclaimed filmmaker Yusuf Kachingwe, widely known as 'Genuine Kado'. This film features a compelling narrative that explores themes of debt, betrayal, and the supernatural.

The storyline revolves around a man who borrows money from several individuals. As time goes by, the borrowers, overwhelmed by their financial obligations, decide to take extreme measures, leading to the murder of the lender. This act sets off a chain of events where the spirit of the deceased begins to haunt those responsible, creating a gripping tale of revenge and consequences.

Kado, who has been active in the film industry for nearly five to seven years has expressed his intention to continue producing films that delve into supernatural themes. He previously shared with that his passion for storytelling that captivates audiences through elements of the unknown.

The film features a cast of 166 characters and is now available for viewing on YouTube, allowing a wider audience to experience this intriguing story. Kado is also known for his roles in other popular films such as 'Magwiragwira,' 'Mudzionetsetsa,' and 'Anthu usana,' further establishing his reputation in the Malawian film industry.

MALAWI FILM INDUSTRY GETS BOOST FROM NIGERIAN COLLABORATION

  Renowned Nigerian actors Charles Awurum, Charles Inojie, and Nkeiruka Sylvanus have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Film Association of Malawi (Fama) to collaborate on a new movie production. The partnership aims to support the growth of the local film industry in Malawi. The MoU was signed at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe, and it will enable the Nigerian actors to contribute to Fama's operations. The partnership is part of a K40 million collaboration between the Shepherd Bushiri Foundation (SBF) and Fama to foster industry growth and support Malawian and international actors.
