Queen Agnes Carries on Late Father Bright Nkhata's Music Legacy

The music legacy of late Bright 'Live Wire' Nkhata continues to live on through his daughter, Queen Agnes. A US-based artist, Queen Agnes has released her first single, "Moyo Wanga", a duet with producer Leumus of Set-Up Beats. The song is a fusion of amapiano and afro-house, and is a dedication to her late father.

Queen Agnes, who has been a DJ for some time, says she believes her father's musical gifts have been embedded in her. She grew up watching her father perform and is now following in his footsteps. "I desire to reflect on what the world is facing as well as bringing back the dance floor," she said.

Leumus, the producer of "Moyo Wanga", praised Queen Agnes' talent and dedication to the amapiano genre. "She is one of the people who believed in the amapiano movement that we are advancing... The goal is to create a wider network of amapiano music," he said.

Queen Agnes' music is not only a tribute to her father's legacy but also a way to entertain and inspire people. With "Moyo Wanga" already featured on US radio stations, Queen Agnes is set to make a name for herself in the music industry.
