Tay Grin Loses Property in Lilongwe Fire


 
Rapper Tay Grin, also known as the Nyau King, lost property in a fire that gutted his room in Lilongwe on Monday. The artist, who recently represented Malawi at the Trace Music Awards, said he was at a loss of words after the incident.



Tay Grin said he had spent the day resting in the room before leaving for the studio, where he was informed about the fire. He could not comment on the cause of the fire, saying officials from the Fire Department were investigating and would determine the cause.

MALAWI FILM INDUSTRY GETS BOOST FROM NIGERIAN COLLABORATION

  Renowned Nigerian actors Charles Awurum, Charles Inojie, and Nkeiruka Sylvanus have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Film Association of Malawi (Fama) to collaborate on a new movie production. The partnership aims to support the growth of the local film industry in Malawi. The MoU was signed at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe, and it will enable the Nigerian actors to contribute to Fama's operations.
