MISS HERITAGE MALAWI RETURNS AFTER YEAR-LONG BREAK

 Miss Heritage Malawi is back after a year-long break. The pageant's second edition will be held at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre on April 5. The event celebrates Malawi's cultural heritage and empowers young women. Organizer Maddie Mkuwu Soko said this year's edition has improved sponsorship and a more sustainable structure. Ten finalists were selected from 46 applicants through an online process. The pageant will focus on rebranding as Vision Pageantry to shift focus beyond beauty competitions. Current Miss Heritage Malawi Mwaiwathu Khupe praised the platform for empowering young women and promoting cultural heritage. She encouraged young women to participate, describing it as a life-changing opportunity to network and work on meaningful projects.

REVIVE AND WORSHIP: NEWS GOSPEL MUSIC CONSERT SET TO DEBUT IN BLANTYRE

  A new gospel music concert called Revive and Worship is coming to Blantyre on April 19. The concert will be held at Mount Soche and will feature popular gospel artists. The goal of the concert is to promote gospel music and give fans a chance to connect with their favorite artists. According to Edson Kawalala, the founder of Classics Events Management, gospel music lovers have been missing out on big events. He wants to change that with Revive and Worship, which will be held twice a year to coincide with major Christian holidays like Easter and Christmas. The concert will feature performances by well-known gospel artists, including Paul Kachala, Praise Umali, and Theresa Phondo. Praise Umali has welcomed the new concert, saying it's just what the gospel music scene needs. He's looking forward to performing and connecting with fans.

MALAWIAN HIP-HOP RAPPERS RELEASE UPLIFTING TRACK "JAH BLESS"

MALAWI FILM INDUSTRY GETS BOOST FROM NIGERIAN COLLABORATION
