MISS HERITAGE MALAWI RETURNS AFTER YEAR-LONG BREAK

Miss Heritage Malawi is back after a year-long break. The pageant's second edition will be held at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre on April 5. The event celebrates Malawi's cultural heritage and empowers young women. Organizer Maddie Mkuwu Soko said this year's edition has improved sponsorship and a more sustainable structure. Ten finalists were selected from 46 applicants through an online process. The pageant will focus on rebranding as Vision Pageantry to shift focus beyond beauty competitions. Current Miss Heritage Malawi Mwaiwathu Khupe praised the platform for empowering young women and promoting cultural heritage. She encouraged young women to participate, describing it as a life-changing opportunity to network and work on meaningful projects.
