Chitoliro Productionz Signs Afro-Fusion Artist Cretik


 Chitoliro Productionz, the organizers of the Urban Music People (UMP) Festival, have signed afro-fusion and dancehall musician Cretik to their label. According to Chitoliro Project Manager Andrew Macheso, Cretik was chosen due to his impressive music talent, passion, and work ethic.

Macheso stated that the deal aims to raise Cretik's talent and build the label's reputation. The partnership is expected to help Cretik make a mark on the local and international music scene.

Cretik, whose real name is Samson Chidobvu, expressed his happiness with the deal, saying it will elevate the quality of his music and open doors to new opportunities.

Chitoliro Productionz plans to work with other talented musicians who performed well in the College Cypher Awards. The label is also introducing Chito Sealz, a music collective that brings together diverse voices and sounds.

Chito Sealz has already made progress with its upcoming release 'Anamwali', featuring gospel music giants Ethel Kamwendo Banda and Ndirande Anglican Voices.

The partnership between Chitoliro Productionz and Cretik is expected to produce high-quality music and showcase Malawian talent on the international stage.

MALAWI FILM INDUSTRY GETS BOOST FROM NIGERIAN COLLABORATION

  Renowned Nigerian actors Charles Awurum, Charles Inojie, and Nkeiruka Sylvanus have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Film Association of Malawi (Fama) to collaborate on a new movie production. The partnership aims to support the growth of the local film industry in Malawi.
